Curly Brown Books

Pamela Brown-Ledet is a retired Kindergarten teacher.  When asked what gift she wanted for her birthday each year as a child, the answer was always books.  Her goal is to make reading enjoyable for kids of all ages, 

Curly Brown Books is a division of Curly Brown Twice Over, LLC.  The goal is to provide books that contain characters that allow children to identify with, and see themselves on the pages.   Our hope is that students will fall in love with the illustrations.  At the same time, mature readers will smile as they recall memories of spending time with the children in their own families.

Things I Want You to Know Before I Go is an expression of love between Pamela Brown-Ledet and her son, Matthew.  In 2011, Ledet experienced a Pulmonary Embolism that almost took her life.  While in the hospital, she began to record the things that she needed to teach Matthew, in the event she did not live to see him reach adulthood. She was encouraged by friends to share those thoughts with the world, which became the words of this book.
